It's not possible to make too much effort to prevent terrorism, is it?

Carefully screening and documenting refugees is probably a good way to prevent terrorists from entering your country.  Isn't the work that it takes to do that worth the effort?

It's also easier to help people when you know something about them.  Can't you give refugees temporary visas, put them to work and send them to school?

There also have to be work opportunities for people who want to help the refugees; medical assistance, social work, administrative work, teaching English, maybe construction of temporary housing.

Once the refugees are working, they'll have some money to spend.  That's not bad for the economy, is it?  There's no reason to think of them as just a burden on resources.
