Dustin Lance Black is taking advantage of Tom Daley.

December 9, 2015

There continues to be a lot of pressure on gay people not to be gay.  When you're young and famous, there's even more pressure.

Also, the conglomerate attacked Tom Daley for not going out with the then-underage Malia Obama, and that hasn't stopped.

That's a picture from today of part of the first page of the White House's official website.

What Mr. Daley said in the video in which he announced that he was in a relationship with Mr. Black a few years ago was "I have never felt so safe."  He certainly needed protection from someone.  It's unfortunate that a much older man took advantage of that need.

Mr. Daley is too young to commit, and Mr. Black is too old for him to commit to, at least at this time.  It really makes me angry when older people don't think about the futures of the people whom they say that they care about, and don't take into account that the younger people who say that they know what they want don't have the life perspective to know what they're saying.

You're only young once.  Tom Daley should be dating people his age, or at least nearer to his age than Mr. Black, and not committing to anyone for several years.  There's no biological pressure on him to have children.  He has time for everything, and he ought to be free to try out the world of relationships.

Mr. Daley lost his father at a young age, also, and probably has needed a father figure.  I think Mr. Black's behavior is despicable.
