I didn't see the movie in the theater.  I haven't rented it, either.  Some of it is at YouTube, and everything that I have seen of it so far is terrible; terrible dialogue, terrible people, terrible plot.  
Is a marriage of ten years worth throwing away because of a Creepy, Stupid Phase?
It seems to me that "for better and for worse" is timeless and meant to address things such as Creepy, Stupid Phases.  I don't know that weddings would be improved by vows that included lists of everything that could possibly go wrong during a marriage.
