How would every media source do if all of its stories were scrutinized and the most stringent standards of investigation and accuracy were applied to them?

Considering that the conglomerate media routinely distorts information to publish code stories, I think that many of its stories would fall apart.  

I think the conglomerate media should be investigated.  I think it should be sued.

Aren't there monopoly laws that could be getting applied to the conglomerate media?
