The newspaper that he's managing enjoys being relentlessly vicious. It has no remorse; it has no decency.
My concerns about how painful it would be for people of color everywhere if the first African American President of the United States had to resign don't extend to concern about Mr. Baquet's resignation. He is the executive editor of a corrupt and criminal media source that deliberately damages people's lives every day.
He abuses the right of free speech. People who work for him criminally hack my phone and email and laugh in my face that they're doing it. They are categorically degrading and offensive. They are a threat to civil liberties, to privacy rights, and to the safety of vulnerable people everywhere.
They don't care about being accurate. They don't care about being truthful. They don't care about being impartial. They don't care that they are promoters of misogyny and sexual assault.
THEY DON'T CARE IF THEY BULLY PEOPLE TO DEATH!
They are his employees and his responsibility.
