I hope that the New York Times won't be punished for spending time doing something other than illegally hacking my phone, illegally watching me where I live, and victim-blaming me for all of it.

Tomorrow is President Obama's last day to pardon Edward Snowden.  
 
I know that if President Obama doesn't pardon Mr. Snowden, he will answer every criticism with the unruffled sanguinity that has characterized most of his responses to criticism throughout his Presidency. 

A million people.  A million criticisms.  A million examples of his ability to do what he thinks is right despite opposition.  

He'll be wrong.
