He doesn't care that people have been harassed. He doesn't care that people who wouldn't have harassed anyone without encouragement to do it have had the worst brought out in them. He doesn't care that people have lost their jobs and had permanent, negative documentation on their professional and/or academic records because they did not know that what they were doing was wrong.
He doesn't care about the difficulties caused to supervisors who have had to try to figure out what's happening and what they should do about it. He doesn't care about the disruptions at people's workplaces and in their classrooms. He doesn't care; he could not care less, and neither could anyone else who hasn't stopped thinking that it's funny for 7 years.
I am not the only target of the harassment that he started in 2010. It's happening to people everywhere. A few seconds of video published by him in 2010 have damaged lives all over the world.
What did I say in 2010? I said "Stop talking about my vagina; you don't have the right to talk about me the way that you're talking about me. Whether you think you'd like my vagina or not, you have to stop talking about it, because you're harassing me." 7 years of my saying that, and he has proven that wealth and masculinity win, even when the people wielding those weapons in our imperfect world couldn't be more wrong.
