I'm sorry for your loss.

I read every word of your book last year.  I have hesitated to quote often from it, because it's your story and you told it.  What I think about the most is the report that the school administrator wrote and that you didn't know about or read for years.  You should have had that report at the first page of the book.

The Rolling Stone-Ms. Eramo verdict seems to be in dispute, which is helpful for me because I don't have time to write about that case while my housing is precarious and I have also started school.  That case is the one most fraught with issues of the lawsuits; I don't think that Ms. Eramo felt there was anything she could do, which doesn't absolve her, but I also think that Rolling Stone did not have to publish Ms. Eramo's name and picture since the University of Virginia wouldn't grant Ms. Erdely an interview with Ms. Eramo before the article was published.  Whether she wins or loses her lawsuit, Phi Kappa Psi should not win its lawsuit.  I'm mentioning Rolling Stone because your Google search results also mention an article about Rolling Stone from a couple of years ago; I don't know what your thoughts are about Rolling Stone now.

I don't know if you would consider gathering some people and asking to meet with President Trump to talk about sexual assault at colleges and universities.  You have every right to ask, and you have a lot to say.  I would not be part of that group; I deal better with politics and government from a distance.

I know that you don't need a lot of publicity right now, but what I was thinking when I started this page is that there's no reason that this White House shouldn't already be concerned about how to stop sexual assault.
