It purged the entertainment industry of intellectuals, leaving the majority of that industry to the stupid and the cowardly.
The past six years have witnessed the American power system's implosion of morality and its movement toward normalizing fascist tactics against dissenters. Those fascist tactics are also practiced and endorsed by what is supposed to be a free media. Russia is returning to a state of totalitarianism, and is aggressing.
The confusion and general debauchery of what are supposed to be the world's democratic governments have left the world vulnerable both to organized aggression by nondemocratic governments who wield nuclear arms and to terrorism.
