Fool me a thousand times, shame on you

November 21, 2015

My assumption about these types of celebrities when they try to be nicer to me is that they know they were wrong and why what they did was wrong, that they're sorry, that they have changed or want to change, and that nobody could be so cruel as to mess with me again after everything that has already happened to me.

I don't have to feel bad about that assumption, or about the obvious pleasure that they and all of the conglomerate take in that assumption being proven wrong over and over.  The shame of what always happens doesn't rightfully belong to me; it belongs to them, whether they or anyone else ever acknowledge it or not.
