Is she going to say that Erdely and Rolling Stone misrepresented everything that she, Jackie, told Erdely? Will she say that to avoid the possibility of being sued and/or of being criminally charged for false accusations of rape?
If Rolling Stone and Ms. Erdely lose, that will pave the way for them to lose the lawsuits filed against them by Phi Kappa Psi and three of Jackie's rapists.
Contrary to what the people who have succeeded at generally discrediting the article in public perception have said, the evidence suggests that Jackie was sexually assaulted.
Drew is a real person. The statement about the Charlottesville police investigation, which the Charlottesville police department published at its website on March 23, 2015, said that Drew's financial records show that he had dinner on September 28, 2012, at the restaurant where Jackie said that they had dinner.
The statement by the Charlottesville police department also said that Drew was a member of a fraternity at the University of Virginia in 2006. Why, then, was he at the University of Virginia in 2012? Did he rape someone or participate in a group, sexual assault in or before 2006? Was he then not criminally charged but asked to leave his fraternity and suspended from the University of Virginia, which is how the University of Virginia has addressed many instances of sexual assault by male students, when it disciplines those students at all? Were records about what caused him to leave the University of Virginia after 2006 the records that the statement by the Charlottesville police department said "may have been relevant" to the investigation, but which the University of Virginia refused to give to the police and which the police decided not to subpoena, to protect the "privacy" of Drew and/or other rapists?
Jackie doesn't get privacy. Her first and last name are already on the Internet. Among all of the things that people have said about her, I think I'm the only person who has asked the question of whether her name was part of why she got raped. Although the general public might be mostly unaware of me, many elite colleges and universities have known about me since at least 2010, and have participated in promoting the conglomerate's agenda.
