The New York Times

March 9, 2016

Nobody has the right to hack my phone or to put cameras in bathrooms or in private dwellings.

I know that you are not unaware of the legal and social implications of a person having to live with no privacy at all, constantly at the mercy of people who monitor her at all times and who interpret and publicize everything that she does according to their interests.

People who are convicted of crimes and who have to wear ankle bracelets out of jail have more privacy and freedom than I do.
