"Bro good idea we could leave her in a freezer and let her freeze to death"

March 1, 2016

That's another message that someone wrote to one of my past YouTube blogs, "Lena Kochman Boston," last night.  The first message that he wrote was saying that he wants me to get cancer so that I can die a slow death which would be "more enjoyable for the rest of us."

Something or someone disabled this blog from publishing pictures when I was writing about the University of Virginia and the Rolling Stone article about rape at college.  Soon after that, the blog was taken off the Internet.  The blog was restored to the Internet, but the ability to publish pictures wasn't.

What I did when I could publish pictures at this blog was to publish pictures of abusive messages that people sent to me at YouTube and then immediately erase the abusive messages.  I did that so that I could document that the messages had happened without writing answering messages to the people who wrote them and without leaving the messages where they were so that the people who wrote them felt encouraged to write more of them or gang up together to discuss online, at my blog, how I'm ugly and crazy or methods by which I should be raped and killed.

I don't know how many people who are part of the conglomerate are noticing that I get rape and death threats online.  The documentation of the abusive messages is meant to help those people understand how they're affecting my life.

I have to erase the messages.  Probably, a lot of my past blogs are full of hundreds of messages by people talking to each other as unsolicited guests of those blogs, calling me crazy and whatever else they're saying; I can't worry about al of them.  I don't have time to do that.
