That's the address of the first result for a search from today at YouTube of the term "Roots foot cut off."
I don't choose the addresses that videos get when people publish them at YouTube, nor do I control the captions and names that the people who publish them decide. I have written and talked about that a lot.
According to the World Health Organization, 125 million women and girls "alive today" are survivors of female genital mutilation, and another 3 million girls are at risk for it every year. "Alive today" means that girls and women bleed to death from being mutilated.
That's the address of a WHO page about it.
The cultural premise for the mutilation is that it makes girls clean, and that girls who aren't mutilated are dirty, that they need to have their male parts cut from them and their vaginas sewn shut, to be torn open again by sexual intercourse. Only men get to feel anything except pain from sex; women who do are dirty and deserve everything that happens to them, and are expected to think that they deserve it.
