I don't know if that's happening, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were.
I don't think that Dean Eramo's lawyers could or would do that; however, it seems to me that the entire criminal justice and legal systems of Virginia are crippled by a network of corrupt, male-dominated power that hasn't changed for centuries. Overt threats might not even be necessary for the judge to be feeling a lot of pressure.
