Destined for productive antagonism?

June 8, 2016

I wasn't doing badly before I was startled a few years ago by the realization that Leonardo DiCaprio was interested.  I had gotten over my feelings of worthlessness that were the result of my years of trying to navigate the mental health care system.  I had had several successes.  I knew what I wanted to do for a career and what I wanted to be like.

However, although it has taken some truly dreadful turns and I don't think could be called the course of true love, I have had less noticeable ego boosts in my life than having inadvertently attracted one of the most known movie stars of my generation.

I'd like to think that we both have gotten something from it.  I got life or fate's hilarious answer to everyone who had ever written me off as "poor Lena who fizzled so young," and Mr. DiCaprio got life or fate screaming "You're a CHAUVINIST!  Stop being such a CHAUVINIST!  It's bad for you to be a CHAUVINIST!  It's bad for the world for you to be a CHAUVINIST," through me.
