Do you make your own decisions about what to think, or do you look for authority figures who will support your corrupted, ignorant or lazy opinion?
If misogyny is not systemic, how do you think that a misogynist got elected President?
Have you read about how badly many black women get treated by black men? Consider the music industry; how many black men get to be successful by singing respectfully about women? It is possible to be a white, male, "alternative" musician and succeed financially; it is much more difficult to do that if you are a black man. How many times do the words "bitch" and "ho" get said in the songs by black men whom nobody has ever heard of? How would you know?
Barack Obama does not speak for every oppressed group. It is shameful that he has exploited the question of race, and his own civil rights background, to promote sexism.
