At which "student organization" on Rugby Road at the University of Virginia did the rape of a female student by two men "not occur" on January 24, 2016?

March 2, 2016

By "student organization," they mean "fraternity," don't they?

The last thing that the University of Virginia wants is for there to be an official report of another gang rape that happened at a fraternity in 2016, especially since Jackie's going to be the subject of a deposition on April 5 as part of Dean Eramo's lawsuit against Rolling Stone and Sabrina Erdely.

I did a Google search of the term "uva september 15 2012 sexual assault," and that was how I got to a search result for the page of the University of Virginia Police Department whose address I have added to this page.

The rape that "did not occur" at a fraternity in January isn't the only sexual assault reported on that page.  The most recent report is of a rape on February 4, 2016.

At least the rapes are being reported; whether the University of Virginia, its police department or the Charlottesville police department have changed the way they're addressing reports of sexual assault is questionable.  The page has a long list of things that the school's police department is telling people to do to avoid being sexually assaulted, as if sexual assault were bad weather that nobody can stop instead of a conscious crime committed by human beings who could choose not to rape if they wanted to choose not to rape.

"Police jurisdiction for investigating the (January 24, 2016) report has been transferred to the Charlottesville Police Department."  That's a quote from the page.  If the University of Virginia and its police department haven't changed how they address the problem of rape for decades, that doesn't mean that Jackie's a liar if what she describes about how she was treated when she went for help is like what happened to other students before her.

First the rape didn't occur at a fraternity, then it didn't occur at all; is that the plan for the investigation of the second sexual assault of January, 2016?

I did the search because I was trying to find something that talked about a sexual assault that happened at the University of Virginia in the middle of September of 2012; I was trying to find the exact date and also discussions of the incident.  The assault was mentioned a few times in articles by people who were trying to discredit what Jackie had to say about being assaulted on September 28, 2012.  My question is whether the assault was an incident that preceded what happened to Jackie about two weeks later.
