The conglomerate, including many media sources, has tapped into the signals from those cameras and gotten live video from my apartment 24 hours/day since I moved to the apartment in March 2016, so probably there were people seeing and hearing the "investigation" that the police officers did while it happened.
The results of the police walking around my apartment for a few minutes, with no technology to detect the cameras, and their incorrect conclusion that there are no cameras in my apartment, did not surprise me. I don't know whether or not it surprised everyone who saw and heard it happen, but as far as I know, nobody who knows that it's not a false accusation that there are hidden, illegal cameras in my apartment has told the police or anyone who can stop my being evicted for having said that the cameras are in the apartment.
The court date for the eviction is February 16, 2017. That is when I'll be evicted for honestly saying that the property management has committed the crime of voyeurism against me for almost a year. I don't have the money to move anywhere other than a homeless shelter, and to get another eviction will probably terminate my Section 8 voucher from the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership and destroy my ability to get another apartment for years. Landlords don't want to rent to people who have gotten evicted from every apartment that they have ever had.
