I have an Apple phone. I have to have a phone the way that I have to have a bank. The bank of which I am a customer publishes ads abusing me, and so does Apple.
Since I got the smartphone, and have had the capability to publish pictures and videos as soon as I film them, I have gotten stalked a lot less.
