I get angry about the Rolling Stone situation, but that's because I care about what's happening. I don't read about the cases so that I can think of hateful things to say. When I'm sarcastic, it's because I get frustrated by how many reporters and other observers are not paying attention or don't understand what's happening, or don't know how destructive they're being.
Also, nobody can accuse me of not considering both sides.
