So are the lives of everyone who was part of the Rolling Stone article, Rolling Stone's lawyers, potential jurors, and everyone who reports about this issue who does not attack Rolling Stone.
If the lawsuit does not end in Phi Kappa Psi's favor, anyone who contributes toward the fraternity's loss will spend the rest of his or her life in danger. In 10 years, or 20 years, or 50 years, a murder of someone who is part of the case won't even get reported in the news, and nobody will connect it to the lawsuit.
