6:00 a.m. Everybody out of bed at the shelter.
6:00-6:30 a.m. Wake up, take my bag from behind the front desk. I'll have to have it on my back all day.
7:00 a.m. Breakfast over at the shelter.
8:00-10:30 a.m. Go to my storage unit several towns away from Boston so I can gather all of my laundry and then walk to the laundromat and clean my clothes. Then I'll leave most of my clean clothes in the storage unit and only take the clothes that I can carry all day in my backpack for a few days with me. Storage space is more scarce and expensive in Boston.
11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Rent a table at a coffee shop so that I can have electricity to do online homework.
1:30p.m.-2:00 p.m. Take what I needed for my homework back to the storage unit.
2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Walk to the train station so that I can be in Boston for the bed lottery at the shelter; the lottery begins @ 3:45 p.m., and it's bad to be late for it.
3:45 p.m.-anywhere from a few minutes past 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sit in the shelter and listen for my lottery number to be called or not.
5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Dinner at the shelter or dinner that I have to pay for outside the shelter.
Curfew at the shelter is 7:00 p.m.
7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Organize what I need to take with me in a garbage bag to the shower room and bathroom; what I'll wear the next day, all toiletries, my glasses case, a book. Organize everything else in my backpack, which is then kept behind the front desk overnight with the bags of all of the other homeless people who don't have lockers.
Everyone has to take his or her 10-minute shower before 9:00 p.m. There are 8 showers on the second floor and a few more on the third floor. There are about 100 emergency beds.
Not that I ever really had time to worry about my copyright times, but I REALLY don't have time to worry about them now that I'm HOMELESS AGAIN FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN CRIME, LIES, AND VICIOUS PEOPLE WHO WANT TO THINK THAT I DESERVE IT.
