I was angry when I wrote that email, but there was nothing threatening about it.
I published all of the email correspondence between that professor and me at my YouTube blog last year; there's nothing threatening about what I said in those emails, either. Many of those emails also had what I hoped were helpful suggestions about how to provide some of what most of the other students in the class had obviously never had from their previous education. They are shunted through school every year, always being treated as if their education is someone else's problem, until they are college students who cannot consciously write a grammatically correct sentence.
