Ms. Gomez, I don't even know how to begin talking about how many things are wrong with what you're doing. I am HOMELESS, which I futilely fought against having to be again from December 2016 to the end of May 2017. All that you or anyone else who knew that the voyeurism in my apartment wasn't a false accusation had to do to stop my having to lose that apartment and to stop my having to be victimized by voyeurism was to tell any of the people whose contact information I published that I was telling the truth. Why didn't anyone do that?
I DID NOT WANT people to watch me in my apartment. I don't know how many times I have to say that. Do you really not understand that I couldn't stop what was happening to me because I am too poor for the systems that would protect someone who wasn't poor from being abused to care that I was being abused? The police DID NOT CARE. They DIDN'T CARE. How many times have I written about what their "investigation" was? They did exactly what I knew they'd do, which was to walk around my apartment for a few minutes, not look for the cameras, and then lecture me as if I were stupid. There's video and audio of them doing that, RECORDED FROM THE HIDDEN, ILLEGAL CAMERAS THAT THEY DIDN'T TRY TO FIND!
Do you really think that I didn't do everything that I could to have the cameras removed from my apartment? Do you not understand that the people who installed the cameras in my apartment lied vehemently and said that I was delusional because voyeurism is a crime and they didn't want to be fired, arrested or sued? Do you not understand what victim-blaming is, despite the years and years that I have written about it, and all of the information that the Internet has about it? When was the last time that you went to a library, even virtually?
I am sorry for you that you have internalized the way that your industry treats women, so that you don't know how to think of me or yourself as real people instead of as dehumanized, sexual toys.
The film video for Bad Liar is horrible. It is irresponsible for you to encourage student-teacher relationships. It is also telling of the contempt that your industry has for education that your idea of high school is that nobody cares about academics.
The rest of your music also seems to be following a very disturbing trend
Your boyfriend is not untalented, but if this is how he's influencing you, then he is bad for you.
Speaking of infuriating ignorance:
That's a picture of a Tweet that your boyfriend published. I'm sure that he watches my futile attempts to convince Canada's Prime Minister to be humane, which are responded to with derision from the Canadian government, and he thinks he's being cool.
I am so abused by so many corrupt authorities that ignorant people think that I deserve it.
