Rescuing the word "innovation"

May 22, 2016

For at least a year after I got to Boston, one of the preliminary pages that I published every day at WordPress blogs was about speaking and writing normally and about whether the word "innovation" could be rescued from the conglomerate's abuse of it to promote child molestation.

It seems to me that the conglomerate's repetitive and prominent use of the word "innovation" and its derivatives such as "innovative" are meant to promote child molestation, and not to rescue anyone or anything.  Even if that weren't what the conglomerate was trying to do, you can't rescue a word by using it all the time, particularly a word like "innovation," whose real meaning is everything that the conglomerate's abuse of it is not.
