I support the lawsuit against St. Paul's School by the family of the victim from the Owen Labrie case.

I would also suggest, as part of the public discussion about rape culture, the consideration of the idea that there are often two victims in sexual assault cases where a school is negligent about the attitudes of its students; the person who is assaulted and the person who does the assaulting.

If the parents of boys and young men who perpetrate sexual assault could sue schools for the schools' failure to provide education about appropriate behavior and for the schools' failure to stop rape culture, would that motivate school administrations to take responsibility for the social environments at those schools?
