The online/offline harassment cycle

December 16, 2016

These are pictures of messages that people have sent to one of my past YouTube blogs, "Lena Kochman Boston," over the past few days:

Although that's a blog where I stopped publishing last year, it's one of the first results for a Google search of the term "lena kochman."  Almost everything else at the first page of results for my name is a hate blog about me, which doesn't help me socially or professionally and which is probably where the instigator of the harassment in my Chinese class last semester got his ideas for what lies to tell about me to the school's administration.

I have tried to get the hate blogs removed from the Internet, but almost all of the websites that host them have refused.

When millions of people have seen the SICK, SADISTIC, ILLEGAL videos of me, I think the things being said about me online will get a lot worse.  The conglomerate has never acknowledged that what's being done to me is a crime, and the people who have published those hate blogs will probably be nothing other than motivated to similarly abuse other women.  The risk of my being raped will also drastically increase; there might not even be anything to stop my being raped several times throughout my life until someone kills me.  Nothing has stopped anyone from repeatedly victimizing me and hundreds of other people with voyeurism and involuntary pornography.
