My guess is that, contrary to what a media report about the incident said, President Trump wasn't "bragging" about the information that the United States has; he was probably impressed with the federal employees who provided the information.
I also would be surprised if he's the first President to make a mistake of the type being described by his detractors, if he did make a mistake. It seems to me that what people who are not hostile to a President do when that type of mistake happens is to speak to him privately and be sure that he understands what happened.
What was the use of publicizing all of that information? What was the motivation for it, other than to add to the media-induced frenzy about demonizing this President?
Speaking of the frenzy:
-The investigation of his alleged collusion with Russia for the election is being conducted by capable people, isn't it? Why don't we wait until they've finished it, and in the meantime, why don't the media and everyone else attacking the President every day stop stymying the government's ability to function by agitating over every last thing that anyone who works at the White House does?
-Like many Republicans, President Trump does not seem to care a lot about the environment, and does not seem to have thought about the cost to women of not having access to safe, legal abortion, particularly in places where women don't have the money to feed, clothe or house the children whom they already have and where any sort of complication in pregnancy or childbirth can be life-threatening due to lack of access to real health care. I am not sure that every Democrat really cares about the environment or about women's rights, but the Democratic Party does quite a lot of pretending not to have archaic scientific and social attitudes.
