The destruction of the restrictions of the purchase of Plan B and similar medications was the result of yet another sickening manipulation of the legal system by people who want to molest children and who don't care about the health of girls and women.
The case was brought before the same judge who had previously ruled that the drug should be sold over the counter to people who are 17 and older. That judge knew that child rape was the goal.
It was another miserable failure of the Obama administration when it capitulated to the order from that judge to the federal government.
The then-U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services had the appropriate concerns about the effect on female health of unrestricted sale of the drug. Her resistance to it, and her being female, were probably what led to her being attacked later about an unrelated issue and having to resign.
