The law and legal systems are supposed to evolve to improve the human condition. What if nobody had ever thought of democracy as an alternative form of government to dictatorship? Then there would be no constitution about which to argue.
It is unfortunate that the conglomerate has distorted language to promote child abuse. Laws against child abuse are good laws.
