It is the definition of bucolic tranquility.
Most of Vermont is, which is probably why I always felt like I was visiting even though I was born there, but I don't think I need to talk about that right now.
I also hope that the federal government will peruse the websites of Middlebury College and the University of Vermont for discussions of environmental issues. I hope the local and state governments of Massachusetts will also peruse those websites; there is much less environmental awareness in the Boston area than there's been in Vermont since the last century.
