Rather than fear what the U.S. Government might do if you give asylum to the people who helped Edward Snowden, why don't you consider that your decision to protect their lives might help to change some minds?
You know that a lot of people will support a decision to help them; not that being liked, rather than being right, should be a reason to do or not do something.
They're being threatened. They're suffering a lot, and this is a bad situation for their children. Being fearful is a painful way to live.
