I write about the conglomerate because I think that I have to write about it; somebody has to say No about it, and to document it.
Last week was worse for me than usual; reading about what happened to the Central Park Jogger is so painful. It's worse because the conglomerate has spent 6 years trying to make rape legal, or at least to make it a crime that never gets prosecuted.
How can anyone read about what happened to her and not stop promoting sexual crime?
These gruesome rapes get media attention every few months or every few years, and nothing changes. Not only does nothing change, the victims are fortunate if they're not called liars and persecuted for the rest of their lives.
