Paul Krugman

April 1, 2016

He has an opinion article advertised at the first page of the New York Times's website today.

Where is he getting his statistics?  I'm not saying that they're inaccurate, but he didn't give sources for any of them.

I think that what needs to be learned from Barack Obama's time in office is what happens to the world when the President of the United States destructively wastes almost every year of his Presidency promoting human rights abuses and waging personal wars on people who criticize him, or who don't date his underage daughter, or who are persecuted by people who have a lot of money and are part of the image-machine and who are therefore lucrative for politicians to persecute.

The "prosaic reality," to quote a phrase from Mr. Krugman's article, is that when both political parties are divided amongst themselves because of morally irreconcilable differences about whether or not sexual harassment, stalking, voyeurism, involuntary pornography, rape, child molestation and murder should be legal, those parties won't be able to work with each other.  When those divisions occur in any country, every problem that is the result of social and political confusion will get worse.  When those divisions occur in one of the most powerful countries in the world, people die in droves all over the world.

It took a few school shootings for the conglomerate to stop promoting child murder. I don't know how many more children have to be raped and murdered alone before the conglomerate stops promoting the sexual abuse of children.

I am a Democrat.  I don't appreciate being goaded by people who publish snide articles at the New York Times, particularly when the New York Times is also reporting about what seems to be a crisis of Republicans trying to subvert the judicial system in Kansas.

If Mr. Krugman or anyone else doesn't like or has a derogatory opinion about the carpets that I bought at Walmart for my apartment, which were what I could afford, then he or she can stop contributing to the bullying of me that has caused it to be impossible for me to obtain or maintain employment since 2010.

I'm not joking.
