You can be angry at me if you want; it's a free country.
An independent investigation is what I would want if I were in your situation.
This morning, you didn't have that, and tonight you do.
It probably won't stop the media from yapping, but it means that the media's influence over the constituency of every elected official is less of a factor.
Experts, please contradict me if I'm wrong about that.
