The world seems to be riddled with corruption.
However, Mr. Obama was the person who was the President for the past several years. There's a lot that he knows about the federal government and what's happening internationally that is contemporary. He is a source of information.
The other people who ran for President are also sources of information. They were all reading and talking about issues that concern the United States, the world and the federal government.
It is also better not to have enemies that you don't have to have.
Nobody has to like or agree with everything that everybody says; nobody should. If you were always going to agree, dialogue would be redundant.
