Not only have the people at this building who installed and/or colluded about the hidden, illegal cameras committed a crime against me, their lies have ruined my reputation with every support person that I had in the Boston area. Nobody believed me. I also don't know if the clear reading from the hidden camera detector that I'm telling the truth will be enough for me to successfully ask the police department to do a real investigation and to stop my having to move from the apartment. The indifference of the police department to this issue is what has led to my being not only asked to leave for lack of evidence, but also threatened by the property management's lawyer that she would "call the constable and have you removed from the building" for my supposedly false accusation of voyeurism. The lawyer said that to me at the beginning of a meeting that I had with her and the property manager before the final court hearing. I have never threatened anyone at the building with anything other than talking to the police and taking every legal option for stopping this crime. I have never even raised my voice to anyone, in the midst not only of being abused by the voyeurism but patronized and called a liar for talking about the voyeurism.
I know that the current property manager is totally innocent of the entire crime; the people who committed or colluded in this crime have lied about it.
If the police do another investigation, if they find and remove the cameras, if I don't have to move from the apartment, and the people who have lied are asked to obtain employment elsewhere, I probably won't ask for criminal charges to be filed against them. When so many public authority figures are behaving atrociously and promoting crime, there will be a percentage of the public that is misled into behaving atrociously and committing crime.
That being said, there are people who do not behave atrociously and who do not commit crime even when they're being exhorted to abandon principle. Their resistance to bad influences shouldn't be minimized by the meting of no consequences to those who don't have their moral strength.

It will be intimidating for me to try to talk to the police again. There's nothing worse than not being believed and helped by the people who are supposed to believe and help you, and since there were already police officers at my apartment months ago and the investigation is over as far as they're concerned, I don't know if anyone else at the police station will listen to me.
