I'm glad that Rolling Stone has settled with Ms. Eramo, but I have to object to Rolling Stone's lawyers persecuting Jackie to protect Rolling Stone.
Jackie is the victim of sexual assault, and anyone who has sorted through the facts of the case and all of the documentation knows that. I hoped that Rolling Stone would settle with Ms. Eramo not because Jackie wasn't raped, but because Ms. Eramo is the product of the UVA system. Rolling Stone did not have to print Ms. Eramo's name and picture in the article
Phi Kappa Psi's lawsuit should be dismissed; the settlement of Ms. Eramo's case should not be exploited by that fraternity as fodder for its sickening lawsuit.
