I don't know if there's such a thing as being too pretty for your own good. I never thought so, but it could be that sometimes there were people who thought that about me.
I am glad that I worked enough on my character not to feel envious of younger, prettier women at my age. That type of envy only gets worse over time. I'll probably never be a mother, so it's nice to have a maternal feeling about people every once in a while, without trying.
