One of them is the male staff person who has harassed me for 8 months; he coughed at me in front of the supervisor the last time that he worked.
The other one is a female staff person who has worked in shelters for years and bullies a lot of homeless people. When she works in the shower room and screams at the women to hurry and get out of the shower, she'll scream things like "I'm not looking at your pussy; I just want you to get out!"
A few weeks ago, the guests were told that they, guests, can't swear at the shelter. Hopefully, that will stop her from screaming things like that at guests, but I wouldn't surprised if it doesn't.
Shelter staff tend to be divided into those who abuse guests and those who think it's terrible to abuse guests but who know that the shelter system is so rife with abuse that they are risking their own jobs by trying to stop the abuses. That problem didn't start because of the conglomerate; however, like a lot of problems, the conglomerate made it worse.
