Unlike being beautiful, political influence was not something that I sought throughout my life or ever thought I would have. A career in politics or political writing never occurred to me and continues not to be my goal.
When, 6 years ago, it was suddenly clear that the world was about to fall apart and that political leaders were going to substantially cause it to fall apart by encouraging the war on women, children and human rights, I had one defense available to me; I know how to write. It's not enough to stop what the conglomerate is doing, but it's something.
